Hi! My name is Brenda! It is wonderful to see so many people that share the same passion of belly dancing that I do! I hope to meet many wonderful friends!
I am totally addicted to belly dancing and anything pertaining to "the dance"!
This weekend August 8, 9 & 10, is the 10th Anniversary of Arab World Festival, at the Lakefront Summerfest grounds in Milwaukee, WI!
ArabWorldFest.com | Arab World Fest | August 8, 9, 10 2008
It's a wonderful cultural experience! My husband and I have gone every year for the past 4 years and we always look forward to the event.
The moment you walk through the gates, you can smell the sweet aroma of shisha wafting in the air, the hookah bar with glistening hookahs lined up and Arabian coffee brewing. The food is great, with local Middle Eastern restaurants making sure that no one leaves hungry! The entertainment is wonderful, and also the shopping at the marketplace (Souk)-one can never have too many coin hip scarves or other treasures! Audrena always has a table set up with her wares, as well as local and other vendors.
There are Belly Dancers, Musicians, Debke Dancers, Camel rides, Cultural exhibits, Henna tattoos and events for children and the whole family!
If you are in the area-please join us!
Welcome! Ahlan Wa Sahlan!
Shimmy On!
