Bellydance in Montreal, QC- need advice planning a trip

Hey kids, I might be planning a trip to Montreal in June (pending time can be booked off from work) from the 20th to the 25th. I live in Halifax which has some great local instructors, but otherwise there aren't a lot of resources. My ideal agenda would involve some drop-in classes with great local Montreal instructors, and some serious shopping (I'm in the market for some nice high-heeled dance shoes-I've never fitted for ballroom dance shoes before so I'm keen to try for fit before I buy rather than just order online according to a size chart, would maybe like to do some fabric shopping too). I'd also like to see some good local dancing too.

So what's the scene like in Montreal? Is it worth getting off my lazy east-coast duff and onto a plane? I've been doing a bit of googling but would really appreciate some advice from locals. Would any Montrealers here at the forum consider a meet-up for any of this stuff? Or heck, if any of you are teaching in Montreal, let me know what you do- I would be keen to drop-in to your class or take a private class if you can offer me anything I can't get local in Halifax!

ETA: For what it's worth, I've got the pricing for private and semi-private lessons with Aziza. Are any two other people here on the forum interested in doing a semi-private lesson or two with Aziza? I won't re-post the pricing I've been given as I'm presuming that it's only available upon request because that's the way they like it, but if anybody fancies it I'm happy to share in a private message or e-mail.

i'm not totally sure what the 'scene' is in montreal being i'm near edmonton. but that dancer who does 'where will i dance this week' is an instructor in montreal. i know if i were headed to montreal i'd be looking her up & see if she has drop in classes.

Thanks gisela :) I had never seen Hadia's website, which I will file away in the bookmarks for future reference (she's not based *that* close to my current location, but when you put it in context of the size of Canada, she isn't really that far). The Azhia link is quite new to me, I hadn't seen that before you posted it :)
