Interpretation issue

This has nothing to do with bd but it got me totally pissed off and in a big discussion with my brother in law. Now I do know I am a bit over sensitive on this subject, so I was wondering how you interpret this?
For me, the bit about self defence is ok, the rest puts responsibility on women, which I find very harmfull to say the least...:mad:

I completely agree with you, and that's why I didn't share it.

There is a big difference between not willingly putting yourself into vunerable situations and living your life in fear. It's the latter which that facebook meme advocates and that horrifies me.
