I got back from Tasmania at 12.25am last night and I'm still exhausted & crabby.

The session photographer/videographer has been posting pictures from the floorshow and the bazaar on his facebook,so I've yoinked a pic of myself performing to Keti Sharif's 'Golden Mandala' (with a few improv sections & a whole lot of drama by me) from there.



The night of the bazaar I lost my music so I ran down to event organiser Zahira & told her, so we decided I'd improv to live drumming instead of my stick choreo. I don't know if anyone filmed that performance. If anyone was at TASMED and did film either performance, please pm me as I'd love to take a peek!

I did have a great time. I gave the performance of my life at the floorshow, nailing everything I wanted to achieve with the performance. I somehow even managed to make the flubs look intentional.

Following up at the bazaar the next night with an impromptu improvisation to live drums just gave me my confidence back as a dancer. I loved it.

I miss Tasmania already. Going back there was like going home.
