Hello. I'm new to belly dancing and am glad to have found a support group as this appears to be. I'm also starting belly dancing as a senior citizen. Oh my I didn't know some of these muscles exist! :lol:

I have lots of questions but I'll ask them in the appropriate areas.

Hi welcome to the forum, There are a few of us older wonderful Ladies around, so you are in good company. The 'youngsters' are very supportive and will find lots of helpful advice here.

As for those muscles you didn't know you had, they will stop their groaning after a while.
