I finished it!

Not having a sewing machine, I undertook the task of hand sewing a very red dance top. I decided that, instead of sewing from scratch, I'd alter some tops found at the thrift store when I went shopping for my mix-n-match pieces... just until I get a machine or am better at sewing.

Well, I have done it. The red top has been altered to completion. My fingers are sore, but it's pretty. I just have to cut the fringe a bit shorter and add some bead strands.

I suck at sewing personally, and humbly admire anybody who sews their own dance stuff. I'm just happy I've been able to replace hooks and the like on my costuming for several years, and boy do I love my bellydance seamstress
