Congratulations Sara ... wishing you all the best of luck !!
Find yourself a lucky charm .. one that you think is lucky, not like a rabbits foot or the usual luck things ... make it your luck thing, to will keep you motivated I have an iron pirate rock that is my motivater ..
Congratulations, Sara! You are sooo going to enjoy your time as a uni student. And your studies sounds really interesting as well... Any hope you'll be specialising on the heritage of Middle East one day?
As for a lucky charm - look around in your stuff. Try to find something small (to be easily carried around), maybe something goofy to cheer you up, or something that has a deeper meaning to it (Maybe someone special has given it, or maybe you associate it with something special in your life). Ah, I am sure you'll reckognize it the moment you see it.
Once more, don't let it scare you... it will be sooo cool, I know it.
Congratulations! I know it can be daunting at first, but once you get there, you'll find a place to fit right in and some nice friends, especially if there are dance classes you can take.
When you're out shopping and see something or walking and see something, you'll know it .. it's something that sparks off your inner self .. when you see it, you suddenly feel you want to do something .. that's your motivation charm ... when you're looking, you need to feel your inner self for that change that you feel when you see it ..
When I entered graduate school, it was a place known for its Beat heritage -- Alan Ginsberg was one of the founders. And I was getting my first new car at the time, too, which had a cupholder too small to hold a water bottle. So I bought a "nodder" that looks like a beatnik playing bongos and put it in the cupholder. "Bong" was my mascot and, I guess you could say, my lucky charm.
Hi Sara,
That is a great news. Just make sure you are still connected to this forum as we will miss you awfully if we don't see your posting here.
Have lots of fun.......

Way to go, sweetie!:clap::clap::dance: (Imagine fireworks and triumphant music as you ride a huge float down the street, waving to crowds of admiring well-wishers)
