What fabrics are acceptable for skirts?

Wow that looks great, I like what you did with the shoulder straps, makes it all blend in perfectly! Congrats!

Did you add the wrist bands? And the little decoration on the hip? Or did you already have them?

The wrist bands were included and I used one of the bra straps to make the decoration.

If it matches the color and hangs nicely, then use whatever the heck you want!

I had to add ruffles to a skirt once and the only color that matched the skirt fabric was really thin windbreaker material. But it matched perfectly and looked nice. All the spandex and lycra I found didn't match the skirt color at all.
